    Different from the traditional electrochemical impedance spectrum (EIS) analyzer which has been used to corrosion, electro-deposition batteries and fuel cells and other electrochemical systems for a long time in the past. The EIWP series is said to be "born for sensors". The technical specifications of the EIWp series fully meet the requirements of biosensor development. Electrochemical AC impedance technology can be developed into sensor products, such as: electrochemical immunoassay (antigen/antibody) sensor, capacitive biochemical sensor, biochemical virus sensor, gas sensor, etc.

    In addition to the Nyquist plot provided by the general commercial fitting softwares, Zensor provides it more intuitive with full prespective graphs. These include graphs of total impedance, phase, real part impedance and imaginary part impedance, which will help you quickly inspect the features during experiments.

    Provide different precision fit

    Zensor ECM software provides 10 levels of electrochemical-equivalent circuit fit precision, from fast preliminary fit to accurate fit, allowing you to make quick adjustments during experiments or to make precise analysis after the experiment . When faced with non-typical sensor impedance model or non-ideal data, the fit results can be adjusted more appropriately through chosing different levels for fit.

    IMPE & IMPT analysis method help to develop electrochemical AC impedance sensor

    Impedance – Potential (IMPE)

    Impedance – Potential (IMPE) method is to apply a fixed frequency sinusoidal wave crossing a voltage range. This method is similar to Linear Sweep Voltammetry (LSV) or Square Wave Voltammetry (SWV) methods introduced in 1.2 Electrochemical Methods , but the measuring result from Ohm’s Law (V = I R) becomes AC impedance Z = V/I instead of only resistance. With the IMPE method, certain substances in the electrochemical system reacts according to specific potentials, and the impedance of the system changes due to the reactions. Therefore, this method can be used to analyze the elements or components in the system. This method is a non-destructive technique to exam a sample material to characterize its properties, it can be used to detect and quantify the presence of analytes in samples such as waste water, biological fluids and air quality tests.


    Impedance – Time (IMPT)

    Impedance – Time (IMPT) method is to apply a single sinusoidal wave continued for a period of time. This method is similar to Amperometry (I-t) method introduced in 1.2 Electrochemical Methods , but the AC impedance is calculated instead of only resistance. The IMPT method is suitable for a continuous monitor to an electrochemical system. With properly tuning the potential and the frequency of the sinusoidal wave, the variation of subjected substance in the system can be detected if added or removed. As the method reads the impedance over time, it can be applied in dynamic microfluidic systems or flow cytometry systems for detecting various analytes, including ions, biomolecules, and cells.
